Solutions for subway systems
The CJSC «CTS» has developed and introduced several solutions in support of a systematic approach in the dispatch control of the subway system electrical and technical services. These services guarantee the operation of life-support systems: tunnel and ambient ventilation, water supply, water pumping and removal, heating, hot water supply, wastewater removal, and other services.
The main goal of automation and dispatch systems for the electrical and technical services is the support of acceptable environmental and climate conditions in the subway stations and the tunnels:
- control of the operation of water pumping and ventilation equipment
- fire-safety system gate valve positioning control
- real-time information for the subway system personnel at the stations and in the control centers about arising critical or alarm situations in the operation of the environmental and climate control equipment.
In addition, the control system can carry out several additional protection and technical functions, such as access control to the personnel service rooms and communication support between service rooms and the dispatch center. Our dispatch control solution is scalable: it can operate locally within a single subway station and up to a whole subway network, with data integration in a common dispatch control center.
Solutions for urban transport systems
The regular operation of urban electric transport depends directly on an uninterrupted, quality power supply. In its turn this is related to the quality of the operation of the automation and control equipment at traction substations and of the power supply lines, in the first place overhead lines.
For urban transport the CJSC «Communication and Telecontrol Systems» offers automatic dispatch control systems. These systems collect digital input and remote measurement data from the traction substations and support automatic control functions and remote equipment operation. The control system also includes functions for improvements in energy efficiency and for the reduction of power consumption thanks to the technical and commercial energy metering and accounting and a better control of the load schedule.
Solutions for railways
For railway systems CJSC «CTS» proposes the introduction of automated information and measurement systems for railway traction stations and switching stations.
The solutions by our company provide the remote measurement of the basic electrical parameters of the input and output feeders, of energy quality parameters on input feeders and on the output for the rail contact line. Dispatch systems support the real-time analysis and control of the load profiles and of the protection equipment. They also help reducing the occurrence of system faults that may lead to the overload and the disconnection of the contact line.
